Covid-19 Winter Grant

The Covid-19 Winter Grant scheme replaces the free school meal vouchers for eligible children over the school holidays.

Please see letter and information attached below.

In order to claim their Winter Grant funding, eligible families simply need to complete an online application form naming each child in their household.  Eligible households will be paid a first payment of £20.57 for each child in that household.  The money can either be paid directly into their bank account, or they can request post office vouchers (they will however need to arrange to collect the vouchers from Contact Warrington).  A further three payments will be automatically made in January, February and March.  

Online applications need to be made directly to Warrington Borough Council by 13th December 2020 using the following link:
