WHO ARE WE?

Friends of Sankey Valley St James was established in September 2014. We are a group of parent/carer volunteers who work hard to support the school by raising money to provide materials, resources and facilities to enhance our children’s time at the school.

The PTA committee has both elected members as well as a group of volunteers who help as and when they can.

As parents/carers you are all automatically part of the PTA, and we would gratefully welcome your involvement. Even if you only can only spare an hour to help on a stall, maybe you have a particular skill or interest and can offer support in other ways through your company or a local group.

FUNDRAISING

We run several fund raising events throughout the school year including discos for the children, uniform sales and Christmas based activities.

If you wish to volunteer or have any questions please get in touch. You can leave a note with the school reception headed up ‘Friends of Sankey Valley St James (FSV)’ which will be forwarded to us. Alternatively there is always a committee member or volunteer at school dropping off or collecting their children, who will be happy to chat to you.
